The Alabaster House - June 9 - 2011

In the midst of struggles and conflict, we sense God passing by on the waves - we cry out, "Lord if that is you, tell me to come to you!" It is in that moment, that the waves become silent and the size of the ocean reduced to nothing at all - The Lord says, "Come to me, come join me here." We slide our legs over the side of the boat with full intent to go to the Lord. We step down, walking as the Lord walks - but then, the roar of the waves and the increase of the storms tempest returns and overwhelms the senses (physical) and you begin to sink. Just before you go under the waves you cry out, "Lord, save me," then a hand from above reaches down and pulls you up. The Lord asks, "Why did you doubt?"

Why do we doubt? The Alabaster House would like to know your heart on this.

  1. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 63:4,5
