The Alabaster House - August 18th, 2011

In Mark 15:23 - "Then they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it."

At this point Jesus had been tortured beyond recognition, but was still standing. Historically, myrrh was also used to deaden pain when mixed with wine. - Jesus refused this.

Trying to imagine what Jesus was experiencing at this moment is beyond comprehension - within his body, a tsunami of pain, wave after wave - every step a forced movement - what must of been pure agony.

In the midst of your struggles beloved, He intercedes for you - allowing you to not only survive your conflict, but be victorious in it. In the middle of the pain, ask God to give you His understanding and His vision.
